Google Chrome Released for Android
Back in 2008, Google’s Chrome browser was released, and has grown to be one of the most preferred browsers on the market, thanks to it’s speed, ease of use, convenience, and reliability. One of most users requests was the ability to download Google Chrome onto their smartphones. Luckily, Google has announced, and released the Google Chrome Browser public beta for Android 4.0 in the Android Market.
The new browser is designed to act and respond the same way it does on your computer, including syncing bookmarks, tabs, AutoComplete data, and plans on adding everything else tied to your Google Sync Account.
Chrome for Android is designed from the ground up for mobile devices. We reimagined tabs so they fit just as naturally on a small-screen phone as they do on a larger screen tablet. You can flip or swipe between an unlimited number of tabs using intuitive gestures, as if you’re holding a deck of cards in the palm of your hands, each one a new window to the web.
Sadly, this is only available to Android 4.0 devices, and will be ported to older editions at a later date.
If you’re running Android 4.0, and are willing to try it out, get it here and tell us how it works!
