Tim Cook held a Town Hall meeting for all Apple employees to congratulate them on their recent record-breaking quarterly report, and also revealed some new employee benefits.  To give back to the employees that make one of the Wealthiest corporations in the world, Tim Cook announced that Apple employees willbe given $500 discounts on purchases of new Macs (compared to the current 25% discount) and $250 discounts on purchases of a new iPad.

This new discount program will most likely be implemented in June 2012.  The only problem with this program, is that an employee can use it once every three years, and must have been working for Apple for at least 90 days.  Not surprisingly, this discount excludes the Mac Mini, due to it’s current price of $600, leaving $100 outside of credit.
